String Instruments Viola

Within the Choroi instrumentarium, string instruments were developed which, like flutes, lyres and harps, have a tonal quality with a breathing, singing as well as spatial character.

More than with the traditional violins, violas, cellos and double basses, the lower and higher registers flow into each other and are particularly easy to play, both low and high.
The differences between violin, viola and cello are also much smaller than one is used to in the traditional world of sound. As a result, these string instruments in particular have a unifying effect between the timbres of the overall Choroi instrumentarium.
The new tones and sound possibilities of these string instruments are especially suitable for the player of new compositions.
