Copper chime diatonic

Ten removable chime bars made of pure copper form a slightly curved wall of sound which, through its shape and spatial arrangement, stimulates a free and natural playing gesture.

The copper produces a bright, warm, bell-like tone with a relatively short resonance. This is particularly beneficial for melody playing, because the interference (friction between two tone intervals) that is otherwise often audible with metallophones hardly occurs.
