Wooden sound tongues are simple percussion instruments with a light, transparent, warm wooden sound. The reeds are held in the hand and struck with a mallet, but can also be hung on a stand.
Due to their very easy handling and the lively sound characteristics, they are particularly suitable for elementary music-making with children and in the field of music therapy.
